Amazing Ocean and mountain views in very well developed and safe area (there used to be one of the first USA military bases back in WWII). There are McDonalds, Restaurants, grocery stores, hardware and department stores, local market places. Its not a "gates community of 2-3 buildings" - its a "gated AREA" of ~5km by ~5km.
