These Mecates are made from 100% natural horsehair and each one is a one of a kind, hand made rope. Each rope is unique and has a special feel of its own. These are four strand Mecates and do not have a core for a lighter/softer feel.
Mecates are traditionally paired with a bosal to create a hackamore-used in the first steps of creating the traditional bridle horse. Or they can be paired with a set of slobber straps and attached to a snaffle bit.For sale currently
