3A Truck Drivers Wanted For Potato Harvest **Pownal, PEI**

Eastern Farms Ltd. is looking to hire drivers for potato harvest
- Pownal, PEI
- Salary $20+ per hour
- Hours usually 7:30am-7pm ( we prefer not to work in the dark )
-willing to hire part time drivers if you have some other commitments
- approx Sept 15 to October 20
- all trucks are manual shift
- all trucks are tidy, all the lights work, radios, and kept clean
-all trucks have backup alarms and light to come on when you reverse
Ideal candidates will have experience harvesting potatoes but if you can shift gears we are willing to train you to load and haul potatoes from field to unloading warehouse.
This position is only for driving, no physical labour involved. Lots of driving time, no waiting around to be loaded or unloaded.
Our system is: you take a truck to field, load it beside our harvester, return to warehouse and you get into another empty truck and repeat.
*Important* Experience shifting gears is mandatory. If you cannot shift please don’t apply.
Please note we do not provide housing.
