Role Summary
Reporting to the Site Foreman, the Labourer will be responsible for performing assigned job site tasks. Based out of our construction sites in Charlottetown and the surrounding area, this role will involve various manual labour tasks, including shovelling, raking, and heavy lifting, while ensuring site safety.
What You’ll Do
• Clean and prepare sites as directed by the assigned Supervisor.
• Help equipment operators and other skilled labourers when necessary.
• Conduct various manual labour tasks as required.
• Assist the pipe crew with manual tasks in trenches.
• Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials.
• Safely operate various hand tools.
• Clean and maintain construction equipment appropriately.
• Load and unload equipment and materials from trucks and move them to respective work areas.
• Adhere to and support all safety requirements and quality standards set forth in the PEI Occupational Health and Safety General Regulations, PEI Occupational Health and Safety Act, and Island Coastal’s Safety Management System.
• Use your experience to identify health and safety deficiencies and support Management in implementing solutions or report them to Management when required.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

The Food & Beverage Bartender will provide the delivery of services towards our guests of Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at Charlottetown Driving Park; provide professional service in sales, promotions, entertainment initiatives which includes (knowledge of Harness Racing, Simulcast wagering, Table Games/EGD information). The Food & Beverage Bartender will be responsible for all sales and service of all food & beverage products in all food & beverage outlets.

- Create a warm, courteous and friendly work environment for our patrons and co-workers.
- Be fully aware of all site promotions and corporate initiatives at all times.
- Preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and patrons.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Ensure the workstation is clean and organized.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by complying with safety procedures including use of required safety equipment and identifying and communicating unsafe practices and conditions.
- Present guest cheques and collect payment for F&B products.
- Balance daily shift sales and prepare Main Bank deposits.
- Performs related duties and responsibilities as required.
- Qualifications
- Requires high school diploma or comparable combination of equivalent working experience and education
- Requires experience bartending of 3 years
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work and excel in fast paced work environment
- Meet and exceed customer service standards
- Responsible Beverage Service Certificate is required

The Pastry Chef diligently manages and supervises the daily operations of pastry production, upholding a superior level of food service excellence for both guests and staff. This is achieved through attention to detail in the preparation and presentation of pastries, as well as by maintaining impeccable cleanliness and organization within the workspace.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute dynamic weekly menus, embracing the ever-changing culinary landscape with creativity and innovation.
- Lead food production efforts in both the Main Kitchen and Concession areas, maintaining impeccable standards of quality and efficiency.
- Implement stringent protocols for the handling and storage of food, minimizing waste and ensuring precise portion control.

The Stress, Interpersonal Relationships and Health Lab (SIRH) is looking for couples in which at least one partner is trying to change their diet and/or physical activity habits. The main goal of this study is to investigate how different types of couples’ behaviors influence change in eating and physical activity behaviors over time.
Participation in our study involves completing questionnaires and participate in a discussion task.
Earn up to 100$ over 3-months for participating in this study.
