Seasonal Farm Labour

Work is seasonal full time from May/June or August until the end of January. Main work site is 75 McInnis Point Road in Cherry Valley. Includes preparation and planting of turnips and potatoes, field harvest, product preparation, packaging and preparation for shipping. Requires availability 6 days/week, 10 - 14 hours/day, until completion of harvest and shipping. Work conditions vary according to weather but can include heat, cold, and wet and/or dusty environment and heavy lifting. Packaging line duties are in a fast paced environment. Hourly rate is $17.00/hour. Employees must provide their own transportation and accommodations. Benefits, bonuses, or vacation pay are not provided. Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada.
