My name is Matt, I am a professional drummer, educator, and multi-instrumentalist based in Charlottetown, PEI. I have a bachelor's degree in music performance from McGill University in Montreal. I have been playing drums, guitar, and bass for over 20 years, and have recorded, performed and toured with award-winning artists from across Canada and around the world. I enjoy a wide variety of music from Pop, Rock, and Folk to jazz, punk, metal, and electronic. In 2014 I began teaching private lessons at Long & McQuade with over 40 students per week. In 2017 I taught music theory at Holland College's School of Performing Arts, and in 2020 I taught concert band in the public school system. Today I run a busy private teaching studio from my home in Charlottetown.
