Job Description:Playground is rapidly expanding and is currently seeking an experienced, reliable and hard-working Facilities Technician to join our dynamic team. We offer a great work environment and competitive compensation based on experience. The Facilities Technician will be responsible for various maintenance duties including completing service requests such as carrying out inspections, troubleshooting, general repairs, dry walling, painting, installations and follow ups. To succeed in this position you must be a strong team player and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Schedule: Full-time 2PM-10PM or 10PM-6AM (weekday & weekend availability required) Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: * Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment * Perform preventative maintenance * Handle repairs and maintenance * Oversee contractors in occasions when professional repairs or servicing is necessary * Identify and diagnose mechanical issues and correct them * Repair machines, equipment, or structures as necessary Requirements: * Bilingual French and English (an asset) and must be 18 years of age or older * Ability to lift and move heavy objects repeatedly as required * Proven experience in a similar role (maintenance repairs in plumbing, electrical, painting and renovations) * Related degree from a technical college (an asset) * Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts. * High degree of competency using common hand and power tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, etc. * Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices * Experience performing routine maintenance * Strong organisational and follow up skills, detail-oriented * Professional presentation and attitude * Ability to maintain focus while working autonomously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Other potential considerations to discuss: 24/7 availability; rotating work schedule; overtime ______________________ Playground est en pleine expansion et est actuellement à la recherche d'un technicien d'installations expérimenté, fiable et travailleur pour se joindre à notre équipe dynamique.
