The cottage is equipped with all amenities including water filter system, tanin system, extra fridge in laundry room, laundry facilities, 2 barbeques, 4 bedrooms (each with queen size beds). Guests are required to bring own sheets and swimming towels. The dining, living area and outside patio table and sitting area accommodates 6 people comfortably. The cottage has been well maintained and therefore looking to rent to families or 2-3 couples - please no partiers. A large deck, a spacious dock and a newly landscaped waterfront (2023) with flagstone steps to the water and flagstone firepit just add beauty and convenience to the property. In front of the lake is Crown land - therefore offering a quiet and peaceful vacation. The cottage is equipped with 1 canoe and 2 kayaks - perfect for exploring Big and Little Gibson Lake. As you step into the cottage, you will be greeted by a warm and inviting interior that effortlessly accommodates up to 12 guests (max 8 adults). Additionally, the cottage includes a queen-sized Murphy bed upstairs and a pull-out queen bed downstairs to ensure ample space for everyone.
The cottage includes 3 bathrooms and modern amenities, including unlimited Wi-Fi, a dishwasher and washer/dryer, while central air conditioning keeps the entire cottage cool during the summer months. Close-By AttractionsBon Echo Provincial Park. Beautiful park featuring a 100 metre high Mazinaw Rock featuring over 260 Indigenous pictographs. Great hiking trails from 1 km in length to 17 km in length are available for use from mid May to mid October. (35 mins)
Golfing.Calabogie has two golf courses you can choose from - Ironwoods Golf Course and Calabogie Highlands Golf Course, both about 30 minutes from the cottage.
Centennial Lake Provincial Nature Reserve Park. Nature reserve offering hiking trails. This area is protected for its unusual geological features and many rare plant species, with several lakes and creeks, steep hills, ridges of bare rock and stands of mixed forest. (30 mins)
Winter Activities.Ice fishing is available (when ice conditions permit), and the cottage is just 35 minutes from Calabogie for downhill skiing, 25 minutes away from cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails, and for snowmobiling, Trail E102 runs right by on Centennial Lake.
