I have just taken a Yanmar YSM 12 out of my boat, an Ericson 30-2. The engine runs but has compression issues, I suspect it needs piston rings or possibly a piston. Most of the other parts (Fuel Pump, Water Pump, Exhaust Elbow, Starter, Alternator, etc.) are new or recent. I am posting here as my Mechanic says that the engines are increasingly rare, and parts are very hard to find.
I would entertain a reasonable offer for it.
The engine is in Halifax NS, I would prefer pick-up, but I might deliver it 4 or 5 hours for the a reasonable mileage fee.
I also have a Martec Eliptec LH 12D X 12P folding prop that fits a 1" tapered shaft

We are fortunate to have a large swimming pool to use during the winter months. This program allows you to bring your own kayaks into a warm, clean pool to practice and develop your skills. When it comes to capsizing a sea kayak there is a range of emotional and physical responses. This program is designed to allow you to explore the limitations of stability, build confidence and control, and most importantly how you will react when the kayak capsizes.
Join us in the pool to broaden your understanding of what can be done in a sea kayak and become more comfortable above and below the water.
PROGRAM AIMS
* Build confidence and control in your kayak while working on bracing, recovery and support strokes
* Develop your roll under the guidance of our coaching team
* Learn the rolling progression
During the 2-hour time slot
Self Guided: Come work on your own skills under the watchful eye of our coaching staff
Bracing, Stability and recovery: Join us in the pool for a formal session on blade awareness, support strokes and preventing capsize in a comfortable, warm pool
Learn to Roll: The sessions will then work through the rolling progression.
Program Dates: January 18, 25 February 8,22 March 1, 22 and April 5, 2025
Program Venue:
We will be using the pool at the Rath Eastlink Community Center Pool in Truro. The aquatic facility boosts an 8 lane, 25m pool, plus a shallow area that we will use for rolling instruction.
Equipment Requirements
Students are required to have all their own paddling gear to participate in this program. If you do not have your own kayaking gear, we offer equipment rentals for our pool this program. Sea kayak gear rentals are $30 and includes P&H Sea Kayak, Lendal Paddle, skirt, bailer, throw rope and helmet (if the program requires it). Equipment rentals should be arranged in advance of the program to ensure availability.

Greatest purchase of my life . Upgrading after five months of use. Perfect condition. Batteries come out like two lunchboxes. Road setting 35 km/hour. Setting number three is for private property use. Will go up to 70 km/h. Over the summer I averaged 44.7 km/h. Legally uses all bus lanes and bike lanes. No more traffic. In rush-hour, this is far faster than any car. Huge battery capacity. Can easily drive from Fairview to Dartmouth and back. Haven’t even come close to running out of battery life because it is so easy to charge. Just a normal outlet. Factory mirrors were terrible so they have been upgraded. Free items included: TWO chargers. Extra long properly gaged, charging cables and splitter. Properly serviced by Daymak approved vendor. Includes free, spare rear tire. Many people use a trailer for groceries or even Instacart/DoorDash/UberEats. I’m 6”1” 220 pounds and it has no problem getting me around. Can easily ride seven months of the year. I rented my car out on Turo and drove this all summer, making thousands of dollars. It was stored inside all winter and fully covered for any bad weather during the summer. Two keys and alarm system. *while cleaning the dash near the windshield, my hand went through the plastic near a crack displayed in the new pics. Due to this, I've taken the price down to $15,000.00
For parts or repair. This old 24 valve diesel truck has served me well through the last 10 years I've owned it as a work truck. All hard to find parts were replaced last year and many parts have been rebuilt where possible including the automatic transmission 6 years ago. It also comes with a Curtis snowpro 3000 snow plow; 7.5 foot straight blade that works great and has had the electric pump and hydraulic lines replaced 3 years ago. The entire rear end was replaced new and the truck can be driven enough to show that the 4X4 works excellent. The truck also comes with a set of studded winter with one season on them and a brand new set of wrangler dura tracks all terrain and an extra set of steel rims which are impossible to find
The bad:
Has a steering issue that needs to be fixed before it can be driven and some of the bells and whistles don't work i.e. fuel gauge, switch for heat and cooling distribution needs to be replaced the truck also looks worked in. The truck was a rebuild when I bought it and didn't have the airbags replaced. Also needs one of the batteries replaced
There is a little bit of body work that needs to be done as well however the entire front floor had been replaced two years ago. No DEF needed
Reason for selling, I'm winding down in my landscaping work and no longer need a huge truck.
