QUALIFICATIONS: LEVEL 1, 2 OR 3 IS REQUIRED
UP TO DATE INFANT/CHILD FIRST AID AND CPR
SCREENING THROUGH THE CHILD ABUSE REGISTRY
COMPLETED AND UP-TO-DATE POLICE AND VULNERABLE SECTOR CHECKRESPONSIBILITIES
- Keep children safe at all times
- Tolerance and perseverance in dealing with problems of children
- A ready ability to warmly relate easily to the children
- Ability to work closely and in harmony with supervisors and peers
- Strong sense of responsibility and dependability
- Comfortable working with individual or groups of children
- Demonstrate good judgement, flexibility and adaptability
- Demonstrate strong sense of ethics when dealing with children, parents, students and fellow staff, other professionals and all persons related to the Centre
- Document and submit documentation for any incident or injury occurring to a child
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and order of the centre while on site.
- Adhere to the values and mission of Wee Care.
- Conduct yourself in accordance with the Behaviour Guidance Policy.
- Communicate effectively to ensure a cohesive and working classroom teaching team

B3L 4P9Requirements: ECE training (classification level per Dept of Community Services), knowledge of play base curriculum an asset, experience working with and program planning for children 3 to 5 years of age. Physical qualifications will include heavy lifting, constant movement, walking, running, sitting, and standing.
Must have current Child abuse registry check, up tp date First Aid and CPR level C, vulnerable sector check.Salary: Salary to be determined on classification level per the department of education and years of experience.
