As a Level 2 IT Technician for our downtown Montreal offices, you will benefit from great flexibility of remote work. You will oversee the management and second-level support of our various IT systems. Responsibilities
• Second-level support for our internal users
• Help with the diagnosis, repair of computer equipment
• Administer network logins, passwords, and user/rights management
• Monitor day-to-day operations and ticketing system functionality
• Coordinate ticket escalations if necessary
• Responsible for the deployment and installation of new computer equipment for our employees
• Communicate with the end user and other stakeholders regarding ticket status
• Investigate and recommend hardware/software/application changes or upgrades as required
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and processes
Qualifications
• Computer Science degree (DEP, AEC, DEC) or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an IT technician
• Bilingualism (English/French)
• Knowledge of Windows (Win10) / Active Directory / GPO
• In-depth knowledge of M365 (Teams, O365, SharePoint, OneDrive) and SCCM
• Knowledge of TCP/IP network protocols, VPN, etc.
• Excellent professional communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a team member
• Ability to manage multiple desktop projects
• Ability to set own day-to-day work priorities
