Position Purpose:
Appliance Specialists provide the highest level of customer service support to our customers. Appliance Specialists are assigned to Department 70 (Appliances) to assist customers, assess customer needs and guide customer decisions to build customer relationships and drive profitable sales.Position Responsibilities:

- Actively seeking Customers on the racetrack within the Appliance and Custom Kitchen Show Rooms

Position Purpose:
Appliance Specialists provide the highest level of customer service support to our customers. Appliance Specialists are assigned to Department 70 (Appliances) to assist customers, assess customer needs and guide customer decisions to build customer relationships and drive profitable sales.Position Responsibilities:
We're looking for the type of associates who can tap into their inner orange by:
- Actively seeking Customers on the racetrack within the Appliance and Custom Kitchen Show Rooms
- Asking open-ended questions and expressing interest in projects in order to best serve the Customer
- Determining Customer’s level of expertise and needs Answering questions and escorting Customers to merchandise in other sales areas that fit their needs
- Assisting Customers in other sales areas when appropriate
- Providing customer service over the telephone
- Assisting Customers with special orders and install sales
- Communicating with the Inventory Associates (IAs) regarding ordering issues
- Communicating with the Freight/Fulfillment Team regarding pack-out/pack-down
- Attending all scheduled product knowledge and training seminars
Experience/Knowledge Required:
The kind of orange we’re looking for will possess:
- Minimum time in position and performance management code requirements of V2 (or P3 in previous system)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of and adherence to Home Depot policies and procedures
- Proven ability to close the sale .Exceptional customer service skills
- Successfully pass the validated Sales Associate Test
- Successfully complete any required Training

Position Purpose: Merchandising Associates (MEAs) merchandise and maintain various product sets in The Home Depot retail environment to enhance the customer experience, increase sales and maximize inventory turns.
Tasks & Responsibilities- Organize, straighten and clean shelves, signage and products
- Build and maintain display material & signage
- Price changes/labeling
- Stocking merchandise
- Maintain positive working relationship with co-workers and provide strong customer service
Preferred Qualifications / Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Experience working in retail merchandising service industry or working directly for large scale retailer
- Basic computer skills with knowledge of web based applications
- Experience working on teams, with heavy reliance on team to accomplish goals
- Attention to Detail: Stays attentive and aware, catches errors before completing assignments, and maintains high quality standard for work
- Some Heavy lifting required; bending, kneeling, standing for extended periods of time; comfortable with ladders
- Forklift experience is an asset

Pro Account Sales Associates (PASAs) build and manage relationships with our Pro customers. PASAs are responsible for driving sales by identifying solutions using Home Depot’s full product offerings. Servicing the Pro’s needs is a top priority, and individuals in this role must have through knowledge across all departments. A PASA will enhance the value of the Home Depot.
We’re looking for individuals who can tap into their inner orange by:- Developing ongoing relations with commercial customers of the Home Depot.
- Proactively driving sales and assessing current Pro needs on a continuing basis.
- Building strong relations with the Pro’s in order to pursue new account growth and generate business leads.
- Maintaining knowledge of marketplace dynamics including new suppliers and products, and informing our Pros of changes.
