Job Description:
Coloniale offers its guests a professional 18-hole golf course, tournament packages and a full-service clubhouse to facilitate private functions such as banquets, weddings, and meetings
Qualifications:
- Food safe certificate an asset
- 1 years’ kitchen experience an asset
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
- Able to multi-task and solve problems under pressure
- Maintain a positive attitude and attendance record
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
Duties:
- Ensure that kitchen activities operate in a timely manner
- Provide support to junior kitchen employees with various tasks including line cooking, food preparation
- Maintain and oversee proper storage of all food items
- Ensure that all equipment is properly cleaned and in good working order
- Complete check lists before/during your shift
- Communicate well with kitchen/front of house staff
- Adhere to and implement sanitation/safety regulations
- Manage the kitchen team in the executive chef's absence
- Provide feedback to the Executive Chef
