Full Time and Part Time Cooks Wanted
Description
Cardiff is an 18-hole semi-private golf club located just 12 minutes north of St Albert. Built on one of Alberta's first underground coal mines, its unique setting offers challenges to golfers of all levels. Our facility is a year-round course, with having golf simulators installed to golf through the winter, as well as having cross country skiing available to our guests throughout the course, with groomed trails. The clubhouse is open to the Public daily.
We are currently recruiting for the role of full time and part-time cooks.
Cook responsibilities and duties would include but not limited to.
• Working closely with the F&B manager to keep the overall kitchen running smoothly
• Working independently with attention to detail with self accountability
• Keeping dish room clean and running smoothly
• Maintaining a high level of energy and able to work quickly
• Working with multiple different types of equipment safely, ie. Fryers, flat tops, broilers, and ovens
• Receiving and putting away food deliveries
• Able to follow recipes set out for prep by the Food and Beverage Manager
• Maintain common goals for efficient ticket times for bills for our guests
• Creating great looking and tasting food for both everyday menu, as well as for outside events and functions
Requirements of Successful Candidate.
• Proven work experience in a kitchen
• Great knowledge of best practices of All Food Safety
• Hands-on experience with all kitchen equipment
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Solid and comfortable with open ended communication and feedback
