About the Role:
As our CSP–SLP Coordinator, you will operate at the intersection of service quality, staff performance, and operational systems. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented, and accountable leader who ensures that services are effective, sustainable, and aligned with the needs of the individuals we support.
Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee program execution across Community Support Programs (CSP) and Supported Living Programs (SLP), ensuring consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in strengthening systems, supporting frontline teams, and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Quality & Outcomes: Ensure services are aligned with individual goals and rights, delivered consistently, and continuously improved through monitoring and intervention. Oversee Individual Service Plans and SLP-related funding processes.
Staff Leadership & Accountability: Lead recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management of staff, including CDPs, CRFs, Monitors, and subcontractors. Address performance concerns proactively and support team development.
Systems, Structure & Compliance: Develop and maintain standardized processes, ensure compliance with accreditation and funder requirements, and maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation.
Service Oversight & Optimization: Monitor service delivery, address gaps, and ensure new services are implemented effectively from the outset.
Training & Development: Support the development and delivery of training aligned with organizational and accreditation standards.
Community Engagement: Collaborate with families, funders, and community partners to strengthen service delivery and build meaningful connections.
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement: Lead incident response, risk mitigation, and quality improvement initiatives.
On-Call Support: Participate in after-hours on-call rotation to ensure continuity of services and timely decision-making.

Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Community Rehabilitation, Disability Studies, or a related field.

Knowledge of accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices.
Demonstrated ability in coaching, conflict resolution, and decision-making.
Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.

I am currently a college student, enrolled in the Personal Support Worker program at Sundance College located in Capilano. I wish to help someone or an older couple in need who will be happy to have some assistance with their personal needs around the house. I am currently attending college right now, but soon my work practicum will start, and I found out from my college instructor that a live-in position would serve as 'work experience'.
The program officially ends by August 31st. HOWEVER: I am very close now to the end of the program that I believe ends in just 2-3 weeks before I am to officially start my work practicum, which is 7 weeks long. You, as my practicum 'host' would be my boss/Supervisor. (it can be either full-time or part-time). Let me stress that I would ideally want this to be permanent, not just for the 7 week duration.
Currently I am learning a new course called 'Medication Assistance Program (MAP) Basics/Medication Management, and we are finishing up with our 'Promoting Oxygenation' course, to give you a better idea of what I have been taking.

HELP, I am a high-needs, young-minded, middle-aged female with MS, and I am looking for two part time female care givers. Caregivers are becoming difficult to find. One position is 4 full days a week, the other is a few evenings a week.
The DAYTIME position is temporary until April and would be starting late January, but there is a very good chance this position will become permanent. Shift would be from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, $20.00 an hour to start. Duties would include personal care, wound care, dressing, possible meal prep, feed assist, minor house, yard, dog work.
