Rehoming our 16 month old Purebred Doberman
Description
We are SO sad to be posting this, but the time has come for us to look for a new home for our family dog, Bruce. This has been a tough decision but we believe he would ultimately be happier in a new home. He will be staying with us until we find the perfect family for him.
Bruce is a 16 month old purebred doberman with ears and tail intact, neutered and is healthy. He has 2 rounds of shots and is housebroken. Bruce has no aggression issues and gets along well with other dogs, though he does like to rough house. He learns quickly and currently knows commands to come, sit, down, stay, shake a paw, heel, side, (roll over is in progress). He is incredibly loyal and will stick by your side when out. We often have him off leash and he loves to chase a ball or stick. He loves to run and is great off leash. He knows how to run beside a stroller quite well. He could chase a ball forever.
He sleeps in his crate at night and settles down after a few minutes without any issues. He is great with kids and has never shown any aggression to our 2 year old (who is very busy and often pokes and prods him). He loves attention and loves to cuddle and if you allow him on the couch you’ll rarely find him anywhere else. He is very affectionate and is lovingly known as our Velcro dog. He will be stuck to your side if you work from home and you’ll let him. At night when it’s time to wind down he loves nothing more than to sit on the couch with his head in your hand. He would do best in a home without any cats as he does have a high prey drive.
We are SO sad to be rehoming him. Our life circumstances have changed and that is the only reason that we cannot keep him. He will be staying with us until we are able to find the perfect family for him. Please be ready to provide references.
We are asking $750 for a rehome fee.
