Hi!
Have you always wanted to learn to play piano, or improve your keyboarding skills?
Here's an option to do that, in the comfort of your own home!!My name is Susan, and I am a qualified, and very experienced instructor, with over 30 years of teaching experience, both in a private setting, and at the university level. I have taught students of all ages and levels of study. My education includes a BA (Mus), andMMus (Piano Performance).
*All lessons are online.
I have been teaching online lessons for a few years now, and have found that my students have had great results
with this format. I enjoy being able to share my love of music with students from so many different areas.
I meet with my students online, once a week, for a 1/2 hr lesson. However, longer lesson lengths are available upon request.
We will start where you're at, whether you are a beginner, or have had previous playing experience.PRE-RECORDED lessons are available for those who can't commit to a regular lesson time, or prefer to learn on their own, and at their own pace. You benefit from having UNLIMITED ACCESS to the instruction, rather than just getting the instruction one time at a weekly lesson. Lessons are emailed to you in a video format, and each lesson covers the same amount of material as would be covered in a 1/2 hr individual lesson.
*Extremely cost effective.I look forward to the opportunity to assist you, or your child, in their musical journey.
Please contact me for more information.
Rates: $34 for a 1/2 hr individual lesson
$10 per lesson for pre-recorded lessons*45 minute and 1 hr lessons are also available if requested.

Please note: The Workplace Standard First Aid/ Level C CPR (Adult/Child/Infant) /AED (WSFA) course certificates expire three years from the date of issue. To fulfill First Aid requirements for this course each participant who is the main first aid provider on shift must have a minimum of six hours practice each year in First Aid Skills. This review is for individuals currently holding a WSFA certification. It does not replace or renew a WSFA certification. Every three years a WSFA course must be completed again.
1. The Blended Online (8 Hours) – In-Class (8 hours) Learning Workplace Standard First Aid/ Level C (adult, child & infant) CPR/AED course cost is $125.00 (including tax) which includes the on-line portion, class portion, certification card, and gloves.
- You should register and make payment as soon as possible to be able get a seat and to have enough time to complete the online portion prior to the in-class date. Anytime before the course, you can work on completing the online. If possible, we suggest starting the online a week or two before the date to have enough time to complete it as it can take up to 8 hours and time to call the Canadian Red Cross if you need help. I can only send the online once, I cannot assist you with the online or help you obtain your certificate, due to privacy rights I don’t have access to them, only the Canadian Red Cross can. Make sure On-line is entirely completed before the class!! The online is only valid for 6 weeks from the time it is completed. If you rebook to a different date after you have completed the on-line for this course, then you will have to complete the on-line again.
- Warning about accessing online:
1. Please do not make a profile without using the email with the link from the Canadian Red Cross. You will end up with two profiles and won’t be able to access your online. You will have to call the Canadian Red Cross and have them merge your two accounts in order to access it if that happens.
2. Please do not forget which login method you use the first time you register with the Canadian Red Cross link in their email. (One of the following: Blue Sign in button using email and password/ Microsoft/ Google/ Facebook/ Linkedin) If you use a different method the second time you will end up with basically two profiles again. I believe that using the regular sign in is the easiest and less confusing way to go and to prevent any errors- Please note there is no refund policy. See below for more details.

Course Content:
Psychological First Aid (PFA) is about taking care of yourself – your thoughts, feelings, and emotions when you have experienced stress, crisis, or trauma – and then being there for family, friends, and community when they are having difficulty coping.
Learn how to anticipate stress and crisis whenever possible and equip yourself with the skillset to practice self-care and to provide care for others during particularly challenging times. Unlike mental health first aid, which trains people to help someone during a mental health emergency, Red Cross Psychological First Aid teaches you how to build up resiliency to stress and establish coping strategies for stress and trauma.
This course is designed for anyone seeking a certification in Psychological First Aid. We highly recommend this course for people working with those with mental health conditions, those with family members who have experienced trauma, those who’ve experienced trauma and wish to find more resources, and for any group looking for an excellent team building and morale boosting experience for their workplace. This more substantive and flexible curriculum helps you gain a deeper understanding of the Red Cross Look, Listen, Link, Live model – this means having awareness that there is a problem, listening to yourself or others, and linking to resources in your community so you can live fully.
You will also learn Psychological First Aid using the principle of Do No Harm, which refers to the unintentional harm that may be caused to those who are meant to benefit from your intervention.
This course is provided as an in-person classroom format (12 hours) or as a blended online and in-person classroom format (90 minutes online and seven hours in class). The time spent in class gives you and your fellow learners the opportunity to connect with the instructor, who will help you adapt the course to your needs and local context. The instructor guides all learners safely through the course material.
This also gives you the opportunity to learn Psychological First Aid as a group, alongside peers and classmates, building upon one another’s ideas, questions, and examples.
The course uses case-based learning and includes the latest evidence from the international community.Payment options: (KCM will be sending you an official receipt of your purchase)

Workplace Standard First Aid/ Level C CPR (Adult/Child/Infant) /AED (WSFA)
There are two methods we use to deliver the course, but they are exactly the same course, which gives you the ability to choose which option works best for you. The 2-day in-class Workplace Standard First Aid/ Level C CPR (Adult/Child/Infant) /AED (WSFA) course and the Blended Online (8 Hours) – In-Class (8 hours) Learning Workplace Standard First Aid/ Level C CPR (adult, child & infant)/AED course.
- The on-line portion will not be sent until payment is received. You should receive your online about 48 hours after you’ve made payment. Not including holidays or weekends as the office is closed.
- You should make payment as soon as possible to be able to have enough time to complete the online portion prior to the in-class date. Anytime before the course, you can work on completing the online. If possible, we suggest starting the online a week or two before the date to have enough time to complete it as it can take up to 8 hours and time to call the Canadian Red Cross if you need help. I cannot assist you with the online, only the Canadian Red Cross can. Make sure On-line is entirely completed before the class!!
- To register each participant on the Canadian Red Cross site we require a personal/individual email (if not already supplied) for each participant. Only one email can be used per participant as the system is individually based on that email. This email can only be used once in the database.
- If you have any problems accessing your profile, do not receive the original email or do not receive your certification after the course, please make sure to check your junk/spam folder and if its not there please contact the Canadian Red Cross at 1-877-356-3226. Press 1 for English, then 1 for participant. Press zero twice and you will speak to a Canadian Red Cross Representative instead of the automated system. I cannot assist you with the online or obtaining your certificate, only the Canadian Red Cross can.
- The Canadian Red Cross is not open on weekends or holidays.
I believe that using the regular sign in is the easiest and less confusing way to go and to prevent any errors
- Please note there is no refund policy. See below for more details.
- Please make sure you supply a contact phone number if not already done.Course Information:
