CONCRETE MOULDER JOB
Description
Salary:
- 24.00 to 30.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 30 to 60 hours per week
Seasonal work
Education:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience:
- 1 year to less than 2 years
Work site environment:
- Noisy
- Dusty
- Hot Cold/refrigerated
Responsibilities:
- Tasks Construct clay models and moulds for use in casting concrete products
- Record manufacturing information such as quantity, size and type of goods produced
- Set up, adjust and operate single-function machines to mix, drill, grind and cut concrete to specifications
- Build and repair wooden frames used to mould concrete products
- Check products for quality control
- Move products using forklift, crane or hydraulic hoist
- Position reinforcing rods or wire mesh in moulds
- Operate vibrating tables to settle concrete
- Remove castings from moulds
- Cut cured concrete pipe sections with saw or chisel and cement sections together to form odd-shaped fittings

- Forklift
- Overhead crane
