I am an Early Childhood Educator and new to the province and am offering childcare in my home on the Northside of Fredericton. I take a play based hands on approach to learning and with a large yard and close access to parks and trails we spend a lot of time outdoors. Weekly outings during spring/summer. No travel during poor weather conditions. For privacy and safety purposes I will send photos of my childcare space and a parent handbook and more specific location privately.
Everything included, milk, diapers, wipes, breakfast, snacks, lunch, costs of activities, outings and field trips. No additional costs.
Extended hours and after hours/weekend care available for an additional cost.
After hours/weekend care available for children of any age.

I'm a retired Early Childhood Educator, have a Bachelor of Education and over 10 years experience looking after children, and offering part-time babysitting in Fredericton. I'm child-centred, freedom-oriented, nature-based, and identity-affirming. I'd be planning to spend some time outside, in all weather. Pay is negotiable, and depends on how many children you have. I've done the first aid course multiple times, last time was in 2023.
I have my vaccinations. I won't be available if I'm sick or if the child is sick, or if anyone in either of our households has Covid.

Seeking a part-time nanny/babysitter with the potential to become Au pair.
My wife and I are looking for a part time nanny or babysitter with the possibility of becoming an au pair if you're a great match with the kids and family.
We have two children, a 3.5 year old boy and a 5 month old girl and a small friendly dog. If you are interested in coming to meet the family and get to know the kids we would be happy to see how that goes (paid for 1hr) and setup a plan if it's a good fit from there. I should also mention our son is in daycare full time currently - we mostly require support in the evenings and likely 1/2 a day on the weekend to start things off.
Duties include:
- assisting with meal prep
- helping with toileting/dressing/tidying children areas
- playing with children/keeping them safe
