PART-TIME COMMUNITY SUPPORT WORKER AND OFFICE ASSISTANT (ENTRY-LEVEL)
Location: Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada
Position Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Office Assistant to support our team in a disability support home environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to apply their administrative training in a meaningful, people-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with basic payroll processing and data entry
Maintain and update spreadsheets (Excel or similar tools)
Organize and manage filing systems (digital and paper)
Support compliance with Alberta Health & Safety Codes and regulations
Help coordinate and update staff schedules
Provide general administrative support as needed
Qualifications
Certificate or diploma in Administrative Assistant or Office Administration required. Or minimum one year related experience.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or Google Workspace)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Good communication and time management skills
Comfortable working in a disability support setting and interacting respectfully with staff and residents
Willingness to learn and take initiative
Position Details
Part-time hours (flexible scheduling available)
Competitive hourly wage based on experience. Starting wage is $21 per hour.
