We had this made for us but have had a change of plans. Used only one spring. Super heavy duty. Even your rankiest beeotch won’t be flipping it all over hells acres. You can calmly tag and vaccinate without feeling like you’re in a shark tank made of bendable aluminum. May pull nicer with a side by side but we did use a large quad. Ferdinand II is a 2 year old bull. 1/2 Simmental, 1/4 Angus, 1/4 Jersey. He's very gentle and has excellent beef, milk and heifer calving genetics.

We have 3 mature roosters left. They are incredibly docile and are excellent around children. The hens can be expected to lay up to 180 eggs per year and do sometimes go broody. Like other Orpington varieties, they have the same quiet and gentle disposition. Orpingtons are an excellent choice for families and backyard flocks in urban settings. These gentle giants probably have one of the most intricate feather patterns of any breed of chicken that we raise. Roosters can reach up to 13 pounds in size, with hens averaging around 10 pounds. They are very mild mannered and become very friendly.
