Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain Injection, SMC and RIM tools (surface damage, parting lines, engineering changes,
cylinders, seal off, etc.)
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure all moulds are in constant operating condition
- Responsible for determining when tool cannot be repaired in-house and making arrangements with
production to have tool removed from the machine
- perform duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed Tool & Die /Mould maker
- Must have 5 years experience working on large tools, (Injection and/or RIM moulding)
- Must have knowledge of SVG systems, core pulls, hot manifolds, polishing and rebuilds
- Spotting press experience preferred
- CNC lathe and mill experience required

Qualifications

gearboxes, cranes & equipment an asset
- Familiar with ancillary equipment such as Chillers, fans, pumps, heat exchangers and compressors
- Mechanical maintenance, repair and troubleshooting experience an asset
- Ability to read & interpret drawings & schematics (both mechanical layouts, Process & Instrumentation
Drawings)
- Knowledge of PLC, control systems & robot programming an asset
- Ability to work shift work and extended hours as required to complete assignments
- Must be computer literate with MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
