The Babysitter’s Training Course is one of Canada's Safety Council’s longest-running programs. Taught by actual school teachers at our location in Dartmouth, the course is an ideal community project, which can help prevent injuries and promote the responsible management of common situations that may arise. At the same time, children are under the care of babysitters.
The Babysitter’s Course is designed for pre-teens and teens to learn how to be a great babysitter and feel safe doing it.
Our Babysitting Course covers how to stay safe, and how to keep the children safe, as well as how to and when to call for help. Our training includes calling 911 and dealing with behaviours and basic first aid. When teaching the participants, we also divide the child care into different ages including
Infants,
Toddlers,
Preschoolers and
School-aged children.

Any parents out there interested in honeschooling their teenager? As much as mine enjoy socializing, the topics taught and protected in public schools are less than desireable to me. But.. i want my kids to have friends. Perhaps any parents feeling similar would like to arrange activities for the kids to have a circle of friends to do activities with in between pounding the books at home. Also, id be happy to help teach the maths and sciences.
