Levi is a 7 year old, 15.3 hh , broke, unregistered gelding.
Rehoming as he can’t continue intensive training and racing due to allergies/asthma. He is a great horse for hacks, lessons even trail classes etc older kid or adult with some experience. Levi needs a break when allergies act up. Potential for kids horse with a bit more training!
He is a typical silly gelding and has been ridden for the last year by my 13 year old daughter-he was quite green when we brought him home but with frequent riding and training including weekly lessons with Sarah Whitman last summer as well as clinics last year & this year he has come sooo far!
Levi is a fast learner and smooth mover with a big stride he trailers well is easy to catch.
-UTD on deworming, farrier, teeth & vaccines (Spring 2026). Good for farrier.
Levi does require some maintenance. He has navicular which is managed very well with front shoes/pads and previcox.
He also has environmental allergies that trigger asthma which is being managed with reactine and occasional dex.
Levi’s perfect home would be
-turned out 24/7 or in well ventilated stall with wet hay.
-No round bales unless hosing down (too much dust when sticking head in ♀️)
-does well on grass
-likes friends but also ok alone
-surrounded by love from his people
References required and will be checked.
Must have financial ability and time to manage his maintenance.

2011 Sundowner Charter 2 horse straight load bumper pull with ramp and tack room. Warmblood sized 7'6” tall x 6'9” wide. Brand new brakes and tires all around 11/2025
Truck details:
2020 Ford F-150 XLT Super crew 4x4 with Toyo Open Country R/T towing tires (from spring-fall) and Firestone Winterforce 2 tires (during winter). Towing capacity 12,500lbs.
Truck and trailer are fully insured and regularly maintained/repaired as recommended by the mechanic. To get a quote, send me the specific pickup and drop off addresses for an accurate cost. Total amount is due upon loading.

* Travelling without a trailer (if parking the trailer overnight) $0.65/km
Mileage is determined from where the trailer is hitched in Bedford to where it is unhitched and parked in Bedford at the end of transport.

Outdoor board available
I have space for one or two horses in a small herd situation 4-5 horse. Board can start immediately for the right fit. We have the back of the barn opened they come and go as they like. Pasture will open in June we have about 6-8 acres fenced for grazing. Horses are on pasture for the summer until the grass is gone. Free choice hay, heated water in winter and mineral block access. Ideally looking for a horse that gets along well with others and not high on the pecking order. Grain is fed 2x a day you provide your grain. Outdoor riding arena not fenced we do have a light that lights up the area if you want to ride after dark. Trails 5 min walk from our house and go for miles. Putting feelers out for a senior trail horse, child and husband safe, to love endlessly and ride in the woods and along beaches. We’re getting our set up ready in the next few weeks to bring home our boarded gelding, and he cannot be alone! He’s pictured in the photo ☺️
Personality is the most important quality - cuddly, affectionate, calm, and experienced. And ready to be spoiled.
- A relaxed, been-there-done-that senior is preferred (15/16 to low 20’s). We’re offering semi-retirement: gentle trails once or twice a week and hand walks
- either lower in the pecking order or simply doesn’t care
-Sound and comfortable but some maintenance is totally fine
- Able to hack out alone or in a group
- can live 24/7 turnout with access to cozy run and tree coverage
- stands for vet, farrier, grooming, etc. and trailers well
- budget is low 1000s (we’re happy to give an older mare or gelding a soft landing)
- No preference on breed, mare or gelding, height, build, colour, etc.
