I have a small mill and can work with you to saw up some logs.
.It’s not a production mill, so I don’t do hundreds of board feet, but milling for live edge, mantels…beams, things like that.
The pictures are of ash and maple that I milled.
If you need a slab milled, I’d do that in exchange for some nice big spruce, hemlock or pine log. I’m really in need for some 12” to 20” x 13’ logs.
I can mill upwards of 30”, depending on the log. 20” is pretty comfortable. 10” to 15” are good.
It’s a chainsaw mill, so you will end up with nice surfaces and accurate dimensions.
The Kerf is 1/4” and boards are cut in quarters.
I’m in the Porter Lake area.
Not looking to get rich, just a hobby that I enjoy and would like to walk away with some slabs or lumber for projects…or some cash of course to help cover costs.

I offer in-home boarding for $50/night for dogs over 1 year old, who are house trained and are well socialized with other dogs. I have a 9 year old gentle and quiet Shiba Inu who loves to welcome new friends.
I also offer house or farm sitting for $65/night in your home, if you require care for multiple pets. Rates may vary depending on the number of pets and care involved. I am experienced caring for dogs, cats, birds, horses, donkeys, sheep, chickens and other farm animals.

Hi, I'm a senior with time on my hands and I've taken up the hobby of metal detecting. I am looking for places to metal detect and am asking if I can metal detect on your property. Your land or your fields. I like finding old artifacts and old coins etc. I can even help you find something you may have lost if I can do the rest of your property. I have to dig a small hole but I always fill them back in so you don't know I was there. Best places are low grass or empty fields with no growth. But lawns are good to. I will remove any trash metal objects that I find like pull tabs and cans and pop caps or scrap metal. I would think the Windsor area to be a good area for metal detecting.
