Job Description:Job Description A Day in the Life The Order Fulfillment Lead provides direct support to the Operations Supervisor and oversees the functions of the team members. The Lead supports the supervisor to drive solutions to support growth goals, processes and quality improvements. With a focus on results, will support and drive progress ensuring timely processing of orders and commitments by the Operations team, while collaborating closely with the supervisor and all functional areas of the organization to drive process improvement and innovation within NRI. The Must Haves:Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.1 - 3 years of warehouse and Aspire experience.1 – 3 years of leadership experience.Knows the NRI values and is able to make decisions with them.Good with Microsoft Office Applications (SharePoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).Is motivated to learn and succeed.Can give and receive feedback in an open and kind manner. Things You Will be DoingAssists the Operations Supervisor in running warehouse shifts.Opens and closes buildings and shifts as needed.Conducts and/or participates in pre-shift meetings.Handles minor employee performance issues as required.Logs attendance and reports any issues to the Production Supervisor.Completes shift plans and reports as needed.Approves Shift Manager and timesheets in Production Supervisor’s absence.Leads the warehouse team in the absence of an Operations Supervisor.Communicates memos, process changes and reminders Order Processing Ensures orders are picked and packed as per Client and Customer specifications and are within goals of service requirements.In collaboration with the Supervisor, plans and handles fulfillment labor requirements.Works with Supervisor and the Inventory Management team regarding MIA’s and LF to bring to a timely resolution.Communicates with the CSC team regarding any escalations, anomalies or orders that require specific focus.Ensures that condensing is completed to ensure utilization of space, while balancing labor requirements. Leadership In collaboration with the Supervisor, communicates expectations to team members and monitors the daily performance of their area.Ensures there is training, cross-training, and development of team members.Ensures safe operations of the business specific to their area of accountability, while being vocal about safety concerns in other areas.Focuses on process improvement that will drive efficiency, quality, safety, and reduction of waste.Performs other duties as requested.
