PLAN Okanagan is excited to launch Project LIFT, an accessibility-focused program made possible through funding from Disability Alliance British Columbia (DABC).
Registration open until March 20, 2026
What is Project LIFT?
Project LIFT empowers youth and young adults with disabilities (ages 16–21 and 22–29) in the Okanagan to build real-world skills that support a confident transition into independent adulthood.
What you’ll learn:
Financial Literacy – budgeting, benefits, and money confidence
Career Support – employment readiness, goal setting, and pathways
Wellness & Emotional Regulation – balance, resilience, and self-advocacy
Building Your Network – relationships, community connections, and support systems
Program details:
• 12 participants (support person welcome)
• Hybrid delivery
• Cost: FREE — no charge, no catch
• ⏰ Commitment: Mid-March to end of June
• 1–2 evenings per week | 1–2 hour sessions
*Days may vary depending on facilitators and content
Eligibility:
✔ Ages 16–29
✔ Identify as having a disability (no disclosure required)
