Our client, located in Kingston, ON, is currently recruiting a Private Household Cook for a family of three.

Job Description:
The Private Household Cook will be responsible for all grocery shopping and food preparation in a private family home environment for a family of three (two adults, one child). Schedule can vary from 35 to 44 hours per week, primarily Monday to Friday with weekend hours with appropriate notice.

Compensation:
• $30 to $35 per hour, commensurate with experience and fit with the family
• Full benefits (subject to 3 month waiting/probationary period)
• Weekly gas allowance

Job Duties:
• All grocery shopping
• All food preparation – including meal planning and consultation with the family
• Maintaining an organized and clean food preparation area
• Weekend hours with appropriate notice
• Comfortable with family pets (dogs)

Schedule:
• Full time permanent, workplace is a private family home
• Day time working hours, schedule can vary from 35 to 44 hours per week
• Weekend hours if necessary with appropriate notice

Qualifications:
• Love and passion for cooking is important
• Suitable references to be provided upon request
• Must have own vehicle
• Suitable police (CPIC) background check
