Overview
The sandblaster position is required for one of the final stages of precast concrete production. This individual will be required to use sandblastings techniques to finish precast elements, mainly performed by PLC controlled machines but at times by manual process. The applicant must have a good eye for consistency. Knowledge of compressors and sandblasting techniques is required.

The right candidate will have blasting experience with sand, glass or water, on pre-cast concrete panels
Shotblasting experience would be an asset, but willing to train reading a tape measure

setting up moulds (putting moulds together, placing the rebar)

tripping products using the overhead cranes

Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications to delegate/complete work activities
Meet with subcontractors on site to oversee quality, efficiency, and deadlines and notify management as to their progress and performance.
Complete and submit all required paperwork on a daily basis, including daily site meeting logs, crew daily forms, equipment daily inspection forms, attendance tracking, time and materials billing summaries, requests for time off, etc.
