This condo is 6 miles from the Las Vegas Strip and next to South Point Casino. It features outdoor pools, hot tubs, and a special kids water park. Why stay a week when you can stay a whole month? Beautiful newly renovated Condo with King Casper mattress. We are located on Oahu’s Westside in the town of Waianae. The unit is about 45 min from HNL airport. Approximately 12 miles away is the modern master planned community of Kapolei, where all the big box stores are located. Our Condo is right at the waters edge where you can swim in the safe lagoon & snorkel with the local fish and turtles that live there. Spot whales and dolphins from the unit. Explore the miles of beautiful shoreline. There is golfing at Makaha Country Club, Waianae harbor has fishing, diving, site seeing boat tours, lots of hiking trails, and because this is the dry side of the Island, plenty of sunshine. Pearl Harbor, Germaines Luau, fine dining just minutes away. Waikiki beach and Honolulu are about 1 hr drive. The bus system is cheap and goes all over the Island. We do recommend renting a car. We also have our Nissan Sentra available for rent @ $600.00us extra per month if needed.
The complex has 2 pools, bbq grills, weight room & 2 laundry mats. Our unit is on the Penthouse level, which is the top floor of a 4 story building. Though it does have a AWESOME view there is 1 downfall, the elevator only goes to floor 3, so you will have steps. The parking garage is covered and you only have 7 steps to go up from there to get to 4th floor. We have a great cart that rolls over the stairs to make transporting your supplies easier. The Condo comes fully stocked with way more than the normal supplies. Toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, cleaning supplies, refrigerator full of condiments, spices, and of course pool and beach chairs, towels, masks,fins, etc. If it’s nightlife and lots of people your after, this is NOT your place. If you wanna hang with the locals and see beautiful beaches and mountains then you will love it. Come to the WESTSIDE and see the Birthplace of Singer Songwriter Israel Kamakawiwo’ole. You will see why he wrote “Aw Makaha what a beautiful place”.

Do not skate or walk at the river by the house because the flow is fast and ice can brake very easy. You can skate by the lake on the beach road - 1minute drive or 5 minute walk. Make sure the lake is fully frozen.
This is a region where garbage is not picked up so please bring it with you. There is a Havelock dumping station 10 minutes away where you can leave all garbage there -900 6th Line, Havelock, ON, K0L 1Z0
Any garbage bags left behind will be charged at $20/bag. Please recycle or garbage will not be accepted at the dumping station. Please use Clear bags other bags will not be accepted.
Do not wear shoes inside the house.
Bring slippers for inside the cottage.
The water has a UV filtration system, so it is drinkable.
Please do not throw cigarette budds around the house, use provided ashtrays.
Please bring a laptop so you can plug it the hdmi cable, located above the bose system, to watch TV.
Extra four chairs - when you walk into the house, the first bedroom to the right, under the bed, there are 4 extra foldable chairs.
The room with the bunk beds, under the bed, you can find a high chair, play pen, toys and construction blocks.

This is a very well-designed attractive villa. There is great attention to detail in both the furnishings and layout. We were both impressed by the tasteful decorative touches from the dried flowers to tile mosaics on the walls. An example of the design is the large built in closets in the upstairs bedrooms. I have never stayed in a rental with as much closet and drawer space. The property was extremely clean and well-maintained. The beds were all comfortable. The villa is spacious both in the grounds and inside. Where some may have been tempted to have 4 or 5 bedrooms, the 3 good sized bedroom and large living areas given a certain dignity and sense of spaciousness. The kitchen was well equipped as far as pots and pans, dishes and cutlery. The appliances all worked.
There was a beautiful view of the valley from this hillside location from both inside the villa and the outside terraces and pool deck. One can see Alvor, Lagos and Portimao along the coast and amazing twinkling lights at night time. The villa and around the pool deck is very private. The villa is set well back from the road down a steep dead end lane and so no passing traffic. The location gives a sense of peacefulness.
We walked into the lovely town of Monchique a few times and also ate at the nice restaurant at the top of the lane - O Luar da Foia, rated highly in Tripadvisor. You need to be reasonably fit given the road is steep. Monchique has a large modern InterMarche supermarket and some smaller grocery stores and butcher shops. There are also a number of pleasant cafes. There is a large shopping mall in Portimao. A car is recommended. If you have one, the villa makes a good base for exploring the region.
The west coast is about 30 min away by secondary road, while Portimao and the A22 main tollway is about 15 min south. We went as far as Odeceixe in the north west. Despite the weather during or stay in November, we were able to use the pool a bit when the sun was shining. We would not hesitate to rent from Nigel again. He was easy to deal with and extremely responsive to any questions. Given its high quality, the villa is a real bargain in the low and shoulder season. Highly recommend it.-TripAdvisor
