This cozy and recently renovated (2020-2022) cottage is located on a scenic municipal road which is great to take a walk on and enjoy the beauty of the season, whichever season it may be. The cottage greets you with a large, expansive private deck with railings and gates which can be left open or closed. The deck has a 2 year old BBQ, picnic table, chairs and umbrella and looks down over the gardens, fire pit area and then onto the bay that enters into Lower Buckhorn. When you enter the cottage, you will find an inviting open concept eating area with large maple dining table that looks onto the deck, living room with TV, satellite, and a fully equipped kitchen. Wifi is included as well.
There are 3 bedrooms, nothing is older than 5 years old, including beds, furniture, etc - the master bedroom has a walkout to the deck and looks out to the water. The bathroom is clean and has been renovated within the last 5 years as well - shower only - no bath tub.
There is a bunkie/shed down by the water as well as a boat house with our own dock - if you have a boat, your can park it there for your week. There are also kayaks (3), a canoe, peddleboat, and tin boat (no motor) for your use as well as a hammock for relaxing. There are some life jackets as well. The area is great for boating/fishing - swimming is only hit and miss.
A 10 minute drive will take you into Buckhorn where you will find restaurants, Home Hardware, LCBO, Foodland and more. It is a very beautiful area.
