Wanted: Experienced Rock Truck Operator

Light Equipment Duties:
• Safely operates packer/loader/rock truck.
• Inspect, clean, lubricate and refilling equipment.
• Performs daily inspection and maintenance and ensures that packer/loader is in safe, proper
working order including fluid checks and proper lubrication.
• Monitor all gauges and warning lights.
• Keeps equipment clean and prepares equipment for transport on flatbed when needed.
• Follow all safety, compliance, and environmental requirements in alignment with company
standards.
• Complete all required documents/reports in SiteDocs according to company standards and the Alberta OH&S.
• Works closely and communicates effectively with coworkers and other persons on the job site.
Skills, Qualifications and Training:
• Clean/valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
• One or more years of experience in construction.
• Knowledge of hand tools, including uses, repair and maintenance.
• The ability to grasp, manipulate or assemble objects.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry objects up to 50lbs.
• Needs the ability to understand information and ideas presented to them.
• Ability to operate light/heavy equipment.
• Mandatory in-house/online training will be required throughout your employment.
• Must be able to work overtime hours when required along with occasional Saturday scheduled shifts.
• Physical ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
