You will play a vital role in our Exercise Therapy Program, working closely with Kinesiologists and other healthcare practitioners. Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive client assessments to determine appropriate physiotherapy treatment plans based on clients' needs, health history, and preferences.
Develop and implement individualized treatment programs, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and other evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, ensuring safe and effective treatment experiences.
Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and providing ongoing support and education to clients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including session notes and treatment plans, adhering to confidentiality standards and legal requirements.
Collaborate with other healthcare practitioners, such as acupuncturists and massage therapists, to offer comprehensive and integrated care to clients.
Invest time and effort in client-building activities through personalized treatment planning, client education, and fostering strong relationships.
Ensure a professional, safe, and welcoming environment for clients by adhering to established clinic policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized treatment area, and addressing any client concerns or issues promptly.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training to maintain licensure, stay current with industry best practices, and enhance physiotherapy skills and knowledge.
Contribute to the overall success of the clinic by actively participating in team meetings, sharing knowledge with colleagues, and supporting clinic initiatives.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Physiotherapy or a related field.
Registration with the Physiotherapy Alberta College + Association or a relevant regulatory body.
Strong knowledge of evidence-based physiotherapy approaches and the ability to develop and implement effective treatment programs for clients with various needs and preferences.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional, safe, and welcoming environment for clients.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Experience or willingness to participate in client-building activities and value-added efforts to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
