Position Overview: We currently have three exciting opportunities available for experienced Hair Stylists who can either work on a commission basis or rent a chair on a weekly basis. We welcome both established professionals looking for a supportive and dynamic environment and rising stars eager to build their clientele.
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional hair styling services, including cutting, coloring, styling, and chemical treatments, to meet the unique needs and preferences of clients.
Consistently deliver high-quality results and ensure client satisfaction by actively listening to their requirements and providing expert advice and recommendations.
Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and industry developments to offer innovative and fashion-forward hairstyling solutions.
Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhere to sanitation and hygiene protocols, and ensure the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the salon.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships by fostering a friendly, professional, and welcoming environment.
Actively promote and sell salon products and services to clients to meet sales targets and contribute to the salon's success.
Manage appointment scheduling, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate records of services provided.
Collaborate effectively with other team members, including receptionists and fellow stylists, to create a positive and cohesive work environment.
Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay up to date with industry trends.
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a hairstyling program from an accredited cosmetology school is preferred.
Possess a valid hair styling license or certification in accordance with local regulations.
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in various styling techniques, cutting, coloring, and chemical treatments.
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, styles, and hair care products.
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Flexibility to work on a commission basis or rent a chair on a weekly basis.
Willingness to adapt and embrace change as we relocate to London.
