Facilities Coordinator

- Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to grow your skills and start your career in maintenance and facilities
As a Facilities Coordinator at Canon Canada, you will be reporting to the Regional Manager, General Environmental Affairs and will be responsible for supporting all internal requests regarding facilities and internal events. You will also support the shipping and receiving functions within the mail room. As part of our General and Environmental Affairs team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process, schedule, and/or complete any light duty maintenance requests within the office
- Oversee and maintain safe equipment operation within facility
- Complete daily facility inspections
- Support corporate and business unit internal initiatives and event set up/tear down
- Administer all mailroom and loading dock processes
- Assist with ISO 14001 and Environmental Management System programs for the office
To Succeed, You Will Need:
- High School or equivalent education is required
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in facilities
- Known as a “handy person”, with an aptitude for using tools
- Good communication, project and time management skills
- Ability to operate mail inserting machine, tools, and loading dock equipment.
