Hello all:
I run a NFL fantasy football league over the entire season, including playoffs. Our pool is a little bit different as 70% of the prize money goes to the team who wins the Super bowl. 30% of the prize money goes to the regular season winner (whoever has the most points at the end of the year). Thus, you want more of the players on the Chiefs, Bills, 49ers, than you do Chicago, Carolina or the Texans.
The cost is $100 for the whole season.
If you are interested, then please send me a text or email and I can send you the link to the site so that you can check it out first. We have 2 out of 12 spots open this year which is rare. It is on a first come, first serve basis. You can reach me at 204-804-4842 or TylerDavidWarren1@gmail.com.
Cheers,Tyler

Hello I am searching for Tony Desjardins from Winnipeg. Back in the 1980s he lived on I think Pacific Avenue it was close to Keewatin and Logan anyway. ive been trying for many years and have been unable to locate him. I was told about 20 years ago that he went to see his mother and sister in Ottawa and never returned. The friend of his said that its like he disappeared. He said that I think he is dead. I know he lived with his dad and brother in Winnipeg and his brothers name is Rick Desjardins. Does anyone know where I can locate him and know what has happened to him. Its been on my mind for quite some time and right now it is really pressing. He was my first love. My name is Lorraine or family calls me Linda

Hi. Gerald Bannatyne was a 1st cousin of my grandfather.James was Gerald's son.Gerald was born in Lac Seul Ont in 1899 & passed away in 1989.He enlisted in The Canadian Expeditionary Force in 1917 with the141st(Rainy River Border Bull Moose)Battalion. He fought & was wounded as part of the 52nd(New Ontario)Battalion during the First World War.James was born in Pine Falls Ontario.Sadly,James was killed in action in France in WW2 at age 20.I'm in the process of compiling tributes to all members of the Bannatyne family who served in both world wars.I'm trying to collect photos, badges & service records as part of these tributes to their sacrifices for our country.I've included a copy of the picture of Gerald I'm looking for. This is a scanned copy of a 2x2 inch photo from a book, that when enlarged is of very poor quality.I would greatly appreciate any help from any family & friends of the Bannatynes in Winnipeg,Kenora,Lac Seul,Dryden,Fort Frances,Thunder Bay and all points in between! Thanks. Shane

Summer is short even though it is only July. I’m currently at the end of a project and looking to set up a fall and beyond run. Established bass player looking for a group: rock, pop, blues, funk, acoustic, etc. Very quick study. Professional attitude and equipment. Always prepared at rehearsal. Can provide some lead vocals (don't want to sing all night) and harmony. Looking for an established group rather than a startup that WILL or IS playing out. No basement projects please. Contact for more details. Thanks for your time.

Have you an adventurous spirit and want to live abroad?
or,
Tired of shovelling snow and insane cultural wokery? There are places on this beautiful Earth where you don't have to live with either!
The Earth *is* beautiful. Beauty is everywhere. Turn off the news, step away from your smart device and see for yourself. There are places in the World where beauty is still cherished even if Canada has ceased to.
The happiest people in the World live in some of the poorest Countries. One must wonder why that is. (see chart photo)
Let's get a small group of us together in-person and talk about places to live other than Canada.
The emphasis is in-person, not online.
Include a VOICE phone number in your reply. We are going to be talking in person, and a bit over the phone first is a good icebreaker. Don't you want to get a feel for who you are going to meet? I sure do.
Don't reply if you will not respond with a voice phone number. Many on Kijiji who respond to this ad are lonely and want any excuse to keep pecking away at their screens. Ironically, the loneliness comes from living through a screen. Sorry, pass.
Another thing, if someone can't "risk" a talk on the phone they also won't risk leaving Canada and this of course would negate the purpose of our meeting.
For those serious, write and we'll get the ball rolling then set up a meeting!

I am looking to make compatible new friends around my age who enjoy similar activities. Perhaps create a small group of like minded friends for outdoor adventures. I have tried the meetup groups but they are not what I am looking for.
I just turned 50, and finding outdoorsy friends is tough when everyone is glued to their phones. Most of my friends are not into the same things I am, so I am looking here again. I have posted here before with mixed results. Doesn't hurt to try again.
I am into nature, music, football, getting out of the city on random adventures, museums/history and more. I am positive and down to earth. I am not into partying or drug use, so I prefer to meet similar minded people.
I like to get out on weeknights, and not just weekends. If you are the kind of person who is up for a walk in the park, an evening ski, or a bike ride after work then you are the kind of person I am looking to meet.
I am into peaceful appreciation of nature, kayaking, biking, leisurely trail hikes (spring and fall, or cooler days only), beach days and cross country skiing. Definitely open to trying new activities as well with the right people. I am not an athlete or hard core, just a girl who likes to enjoy life. The most important thing is finding friends who are motivated, positive and actually want to get out and do things. I am not looking for people who just want to chat online, do one-offs, or coffee friends. I am looking to grow friendships with like minded people.
If you have compatible interests and are looking for the same please send a reply with your name, age and a little bit about yourself and the kinds of activities you enjoy. Appropriate replies only please.

It's difficult to meet new friends as we get older....and even more difficult to meet intelligent people with common interests. I am a recently separated straight male in my 40's with a car, house, cat, and a few friends, but wanting to expand my social circle.
Some of my interests include gaming....from video games (both modern and old school), board games, poker. I'm also very much interested in health/fitness/exercise. I have a lot of other interests...most of which are currently on the backburner but ready to spring back to action.
I'm not particularly looking for a romantic partner (females only for this), but am not ruling it out either.
Mainly I'm looking to make new friends of either gender, for, exactly what the ad says....friendship.
If any of this resonates with you, reply by giving at least as much information about yourself as I gave about myself. If you just reply with the Kijiji autorepy of "i'm interested in this", bla bla bla, etc, I definitely won't respond.
Also, I will add that I'm unvaccinated (mRNA) and very aware that the covid plandemic was not what it was purported to be by the media. If you're someone who was coerced into taking it for work, travel, etc, or were simply ignorant about the real reasons for the worldwide mass vaccination campaign, I hold no prejudice against you and perhaps I can educate you and point you in the direction of some useful information. But if you're someone who actually believes in the narrative that the mRNA vaccine was effective (for it's ostensible purpose) and implemented for our health, even with the enormous amount of information now available to the contrary, then there is little point in you replying to my ad as I don't teach special ed.
Regardless of whether you reply or not, I hope everyone (even the poor devils who are participating in experimental gene therapy) is having a great summer and have, or are in the process of, recovering from the very difficult last few years we have all had to endure!

Greetings to you from One88 Community Church; a church in a hard place,
working with vulnerable people in downtown Winnipeg. The purpose of this
letter is to invite you to help us at One88 work through a difficult time. Right from our origins, we have
relied on generous friends to help us make this work. We are coming to you at a time of financial crisis,
requesting your help.
Over the past year or so, the increase in interest rates, overall costs, & general hesitancy in giving has
created a very challenging environment for us as a downtown church community. This is particularly true
related to our drop-in. It seems that as costs increase, so does the need for this weekday service. The
combination of growing needs & costs has put us in a place of financial crisis.
The weekday drop-in costs $300/day to run (including our drop-in coordinator). That’s $6000/month
which translates into:
• 3000 cups of coffee
• 160 showers
• 200 loads of laundry
• about 1200 trips to the bathroom
• hundreds of razors, toothbrushes, pairs of socks/underwear, & other hygiene products
This is on top of being a:
• safe place to seek help with housing, work, IDs, social assistance, or receive mail
• trusted coordination point for social & mental health workers
• strong pastoral presence in downtown Winnipeg with a combined 20 years of downtown
ministry experience
Our leadership is doing the hard work of reducing costs. At the same time, we are humbly seeking to
increase donations. You are invited to financially support the work of the Drop-In. Whether its $50 for
a shower/laundry for a person, $150 to keep laundry going for the week, or $6000 to keep the drop-in
running for the month, we appreciate however you are able to help. Our hope is to increase the
number of monthly donors but, of course, appreciate any kind of donation that is made to us.
We ask this knowing that we are not alone in experiencing financial instability. So this ask is made in
humility & faith. Thank you for taking time consider this. I am happy to have further conversation with
you on these matters and even hear ideas you might have as you think into this with us. Much grace & peace to you.One88 Community Church
