Automotive Service Technician

L&C Auto Brothers Inc., located at 2645 Pembina Highway, Winnipeg, MB is seeking to hire 2 full-time permanent Automotive Service Technicians for a day shift.
$31.50 per hour for 30 hours/week
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years full-time previous experience in automotive service. A certificate as an automotive service technician is an asset.
Candidates must be reliable and able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Duties will include:
• Adjust, repair or replace parts or sections of automotive systems, using hand tools and other repair equipment
• Conduct diagnostic procedures to identify the cause of automotive issues and make effective and accurate recommendations
• Road test motor vehicles
• Inspect vehicles to ensure they meet provincial requirements for safety and emissions
• Test automotive systems using different tools to find problems
• Test and adjust repaired systems to meet the manufacturer’s performance standards
• Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance services, such as oil changes and chassis lubrication
• Maintain knowledge of current industry best practices
• Maintain paperwork and customer records
• Maintaining a clean and safe workplace
