Are you someone who can multi-task, organize and prioritize work activities? Working for the Canadian leader in material handling as a Parts and Warehouse Support you would need to be highly responsive and manage a large volume of requests from our l field technicians, our service shop, sales representative, depots and external customers. You would use your mechanical parts knowledge of forklifts to help source and secure parts for the region and our external customers to keep their stock and equipment running. How You’ll Make an Impact Parts and Warehouse Support directly impacts inventory availability, parts flow to the shop and customers for the repair of equipment. Supporting the warehouse and parts departments directly impact our margins and profits and providing parts in a timely and efficient manner as well as providing support to the Shipper Receiver directly impacts our internal and external customers’ productivity and satisfaction with GNJ services. Support all warehouse requirement when Shipper Receiver is physically remote.Maintain various workplace standardsPrepare BOL and shipping documents for Sales, Rentals, RRL and SSG ordersManage the efficiency of shipping and receiving parts to customers, technicians and other branchesPerform daily and annual parts inventoryEnsure that parts are organized on time, and that inventory is optimal for use in the shop and by Road Service TechniciansRespond to parts inquiries from customer and technicians on time Manage the entire administrative portion of tasks such as receiving parts in JDE, entering invoice orders, adding parts to service work orders , applying non-stock parts to work orders, obtaining delivery dates on items, updating the system with backorder dates and inform technicians of back-ordered items from vendors What You’ll Bring to the TableAny related experience preferably within the material management/auto parts industriesHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredExcellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel; strong computer and communication skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow throughMust have the ability to work independently, be self-motivated and proactiveA well-defined sense of diplomacy, including conflict resolution skills.Excel at building and maintaining long-term relationships with key business partners Company Description Since 1954, Johnston’s mission has been to develop valued customer partnerships by providing precision, cost-effective material handling equipment to move product in, out and throughout your warehouse; service solutions and tools to better manage your productivity; racking, storage and system solutions to optimize storage of your goods; and programs to enhance your ability to protect both your assets and your people.
