-This is an easy to cultivate and to propagate aquatic plant.
-It has no roots and floats under the water's surface.
-For a better effect, you can also plant it in the substrate or attach it to wood or rocks.
-This plant is very forgiving when it comes to light and water temperature.
-Most fish will not eat Hornwort.
-Warning: This plant may loose alot of its needles upon introduction to a new environment, but should regenerate quickly.For 5$ you get a handfull

Amazon Frogbit - Limnobium laevigatum (colony starter)
Quantity: 10 plants.
Amazon frogbit is a floating plant which propagates very quickly and is easy to maintain. It does not require additional Carbon Monoxide and should do well if water has nutrients (e.g., from fish respiration and fish waste) and the temperature is warm, such as for tropical fish keeping. It will not do well at temperatures under 20°Celcius. This plant thrives under intense light and hot-humid air. Having your aquarium equipped with a light and covered with a lid will be beneficial.
It propagates much like strawberries or spider plants, i.e. by creating a smaller plant at the end of a stem.
NOTE: Depending on water characteristics of your system, it may take a while for the plant to adapt start growing again. Some of the original leaves may deteriorate at first.
CAUTION : These plants are grown in systems where ramshorn snails or other freshwater snails are present. While I remove all snails seen at the time of packaging, it is possible that small snails or eggs make it through. I recommend quarantining the plants if you want to be able to detect and remove them prior to introduction.
