The Twisted Root is expanding with 60 new sites. There are still about 30 available to choose from. All of the sites will be very large, well treed and will include 30 amp power, water hook-up, septic tank, and high speed internet. The park has many amenities such as The Boardwalk Grill, sandy swimming ponds, childrens play area, large screened in pavilion, bathrooms, showers and laundry facilities. It is located 45 minutes from the city, close to towns with all conveniences needed and close to the Sandilands Provincial Park with miles and miles of nature and riding trails. It is a family orientated park with lots of organized events throughout the summer weekends.

A short walk also takes you to public beach, wharf, boat ramp, dock, food and ice cream vendor. Grocery outlet minutes away. Only 2-1//2 km to 2par 3 golf courses with restaurant and bar.
