Available for purchase is an authentic, well-preserved 3-piece vintage Western Arctic / Inuvialuit traditional winter clothing and accessory set, estimated from the 1970s–1980s.While traditionally unsigned, the items share identical, beautifully patterned Arctic ringed marine hide (Natsiq), matching primary-tone yarn accents, and consistent structural hand-stitching throughout, indicating they originate from the same maker and material source.
1. Geometric Rosette Kamiit Dimensions: 15" tall shaft with a 10" heel-to-toe sole length.
Features prominent dark circular panels pieced into the patterned fur shafts. Finished with a midnight-blue felt top band, primary-tone braided drawstring cords, and yarn tassels. Soles are hand-pleated and crimped waterproof marine hide.
Includes the original matching thick wool inner insulation liners (aliqusiit) with red blanket stitching and geometric cuff embroidery.
2. Linear Diamond Kamiit (Mukluks)Dimensions: 15" tall shaft with a 10.5" heel-to-toe sole length.
Showcases geometric diamond motifs, contrasting vertical side-panels, a navy top band, and forest green tassels over textured hide bases. Hand-pulled structural patchwork seams are tight and intact.
Includes the original matching thick wool inner insulation liners (aliqusiit) with purple stitching and flower embroidery.
3. Matching Patterned Shoulder Bag
