Velvet worms - not your typical scorpion or tarantula pet!
Description
(IF YOU SEE THIS AD, IT IS STILL AVAILABLE. AND BEFORE YOU ASK - NO DISCOUNTS/TRADES)
I can offer some velvet worms (Epiperipatus Barbadensis), a beautiful species that is easy to take care of provided that you give it high humidity and a place to hide. It can be kept in a planted vivarium, but also does well on a moist substrate with some moss or decomposing wood for hiding. These predators are fascinating to watch not only for their strange appearance but also for their unique hunting technique: shooting sticky slime at their prey. They feed on soft bodies insects and arachnids. The velvet worms are communal and will not attack each other despite being predators. They will often share meals together.
Selling captive bred unsexed juveniles for $100 each. Please note, this is NOT an animal for handling due to its sensitivity.
Price is firm, low-ballers will be ignored. I am not under pressure to sell, so please take your time. Pickup in Port Credit, Mississauga. *No winter shipping, pick up only.* All sales are final. No Refunds. No trades. No discounts. No price-shaming.
