TEXCON – textured concrete design inc. is a Concrete Construction Company celebrating 25+ years in business! Concrete is our speciality; from commercial flatwork, to decorative back yard hardscapes.
We are currently seeking part-time leading to full time concrete finishers / labourers.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
~ Experience in construction is considered an asset
~ Safe operation of basic tools
~ Ability to communicate and report effectively
~ Problem solving abilities
~ Capable of working in a team environment
~ Good physical condition, must be able to work long hours

The selected applicants will perform duties including, but not limited to:
• Operating small excavation equipment
• Operating Power Trowels (walk behind & Ride On) for floor finishing
• Setting grades, formwork, and concrete finishing
• Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
• Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete
• Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surface of concrete
• Waterproof, damp-proof and restore concrete surfaces
• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms
• Level earth to fine grade specifications
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
• General Labour work
• Represent TEXCON in a positive manner with both customers, crew and on job sites

* You must have a class 5 driver’s license, or reliable transportation to and from the work shop, as required.
* Experience operating mini excavators/skid steer and a Class 3 driver’s license would be considered a definite asset.
