Position as a Commissioning turnover coordinator will be responsible for managing turnover documentation associated with the completion of the power plant. Managing turnover walk downs, scheduling walkdowns, leading walk downs, capturing the punch list items. Reviewing the mechanical and electrical turnover, verification the documentation has been completed completely, and correctly per the equipment or system being completed.
Coordinate with the client quality management personnel in the review of critical systems. Support the client review, providing additional documentation when necessary. Collecting authorize to energize certificates and helping to manage the care, custody and control of the turnover packages.
Candidate needs to be extremely detailed oriented, with a strong aptitude for hands on field work.. Candidate need to be able to communicate both verbally and written with management, client and subcontractors to communicate the work completed or work to be completed.

Qualifications

This position will be responsible for managing hazardous energy for both electrical and mechanical systems. Candidate will have experience managing LOTO on major industrial projects. The candidate must always demonstrate safe work practices, all work will be performed in a safe manner. Safe work practices for the protection of people and equipment is essential to keep everyone safe on the project site
Commissioning Startup LOTO specialist position is a challenging, high intensity and rewarding. Candidate needs to be extremely detailed oriented, with a strong aptitude for hands on field work, and the ability to direct construction craft labor to complete the plant commissioning work. Candidate need to be able to communicate both verbally and written with management, client and subcontractors to communicate the work completed or work to be completed.
Personnel will develop detailed commissioning plans and procedures to complete the commissioning of equipment and/or systems. All commissioning will be fully documented and tracked to verify the proper execution of all preoperational testing, initial operation and performance testing. LOTO manager will be responsible for safety of all personnel working under their direction, all work will be done in a safe manner. LOTO specialists will follow BMCD lockout tagout policies and procedures.
Position is a field position and will require candidates to work in substations, power plants, industrial processing facilities at customer locations and will include extended travel (100%). Position will require overtime, weekend, and holiday work based on project needs during critical phases of the startup and commissioning process.

Responsibilities
The LOTO specialist is responsible for the Lockout/Tagout of the Combined Cycle power plant. Candidate will have experience in operating gas turbines, HRSG, steam turbines and other power plant systems and equipment. Candidate shall have experience with Siemens gas turbines or similar equipment. Activities include but are not limited to:
Direct the overall LOTO program on the project site.
Train craft workers in the LOTO system.
In force the LOTO program, to ensure everyone is working safely.
Coordinate Isolation Records (IR) to control and isolate the hazardous energy prior to work being performed.
Communicate with management and craft in a consistent manner to keep all parties informed.
Maintain records of each Isolation Record, craft signed on/off each LOTO.
