  • Engine
  • The most notable upgrade over its predecessor is the engine. Pumping out impressive power, the engine in the KTM 890 ADVENTURE range boasts a spate of upgrades - most notably, a significant jump in power and torque. Improvements to electronics and pre-muffler also ensure it meets the strictest emissions regulations. This, paired with a 15,000 km service interval and low fuel consumption, makes it ready to hit the long road.

  • The overall geometry of the KTM 890 ADVENTURE R was developed for light handling, and comfort on long distance exploration missions - with unchallenged offroad capability. Strength was a big consideration in the design, so a tubular Chromoly steel frame is used with the engine acting as a stressed member to reduce weight and overall size. All design and engineering innovations are focused on being compact and light.

  • An aluminum, tapered handlebar allows maximum control while affording riders a comfortable riding position. The handlebar can be mounted in six different positions, which results in 30 mm of adjustment range for the perfect reach.

  • TFT display
  • The 5-inch, full-color and state-of-the-art TFT display has been designed to give riders all vital information at a glance ensuring they spend more time with their eyes on the road. The display's configuration allows for some customization and automatically adapts to variations in environmental light. A shift indicator is also included, causing the rev counter to blink when it's time to kick it up a gear.

    The success of the KTM 350 EXC-F has certainly made waves in the industry. Gaining instant recognition on its arrival in 2012, it has become the best-selling 4-stoke competition model ever due to its 250-like agility and 450-like power. Ever since then, the 350 EXC-F has gained significantly in performance and torque, as well as handling and agility. This model delivers power even closer to a 450, while getting ever closer to the agility of a 250 - so, the basic idea of this bike is easy to see, and has been a recipe for success right from the start.

  • ENGINE
  • Compact dimensions with an unbelievable power output, the KTM 350 EXC-F's fuel-injected DOHC engine offers the best power-to-weight ratio on the market, thanks to newly developed camshafts, exhaust system and updated electronic fuel injection. Its class-leading power delivery is available throughout the entire rev range. The weight is reduced to 61.7 lbs (28 kg), making it almost as light as a 250, while offering power and torque closer to a 450 cc.

  • CYLINDER HEAD
  • The KTM 350 EXC-F has a reworked cylinder head design with a similar architecture to the previous model, but is 200 gr lighter. The 2 new overhead camshafts and flow optimized ports guarantee outstanding engine characteristics. The DLC coated finger followers, as well as the lightweight valves they actuate (intake 36.3 mm, exhaust 29.1 mm), allow for higher engine speeds, a crucial factor in the 350's dynamic performance. The new head also features a new cylinder head cover and gasket, as well as a new spark plug and spark plug connector.

  • FRAME
  • All EXC models feature new high-tech, lightweight chromoly steel frames. This includes hydro-formed elements produced by state-of-the-art robot welding. They retain their race-proven geometries, but by redesigning certain areas they now have a higher lateral, longitudinal and torsional stiffness, resulting in better feedback for the rider, playful handling and improved stability. The laterally attached engine head stays (the connection between cylinder, head and frame) are now made of aluminum, reducing vibration and further contributing to precise cornering. The bikes also feature newly designed lateral frame guards with a structured surface, improving grip, while also serving as a heat protector against the muffler on the right side. The subframe is made of extra-light and stable aluminum profiles, weighing less than 2 lbs (900 gr) and is 40 mm longer than before, providing better rear fender stability.

  • SWINGARM
  • The KTM 350 EXC-F's one-piece aluminum swingarm is manufactured using a gravity die-cast production process, offering exceptional strength at the lowest possible weight. The single-component casting process offers low weight, perfect flex behavior and also allows for a large number of geometry solutions.

  • All KTM EXC models are equipped with the same high-strength aluminum tapered NEKEN handlebar. The handlebar allows for four different positions. The handlebars come standard with an ODI vulcanized grip on the right side and a comfortable ODI lock-on grip, which does not require any wire or glue, on the left.

  • FOOTPEGS
  • Sophisticated ´No-Dirt´ footpegs prevent clogging up the pegs, even when digging in deep ruts. The pegs on the Enduro models are 6 mm higher than the ones used on SX models, which benefits ground clearance. But you can swap them at will.
