This 14 foot Chestnut Canoe was purchased in 1974 -75. It was the second to the last one made at the Chestnut factory. Exterior hull treated with double boiled linseed oil. Recanvased with 15 oz
canvas. Sealed with Latex Mastic RT, three coats. Two coats of oil based primer.
Seven coats of Fishermans Red oil based paint. Out whales treated with gun oil.
