Our little piece of paradise is located just a 10 minute drive from the town of Bridgewater, which has grocery stores, cafes, and restaurants. When driving further towards the coast, you are also just a short drive away from some of the beautiful spots along the south shore:
- Approximately 15-20min to Rissers Beach Provincial Park & Crescent Beach
- 10min to LaHave Bakery
- 15min to Ploughman's Lunch
- Less than 30min to UNESCO sites of Mahone Bay & Lunenburg
This part of Nova Scotia has lots to offer including nearby biking trails, hiking trails, kayaking opportunities, beaches, and discovering local artisans (pottery, jewellery, artwork, and more). We're happy to provide you with some suggestions or tips!

The cottage has one main bedroom
with a king size bed. Please note the slanted, wooden panelling near the ceiling in this room provides some privacy, but sound carries into the rest of the cottage. It is not acoustically private. The beds in the loft are accessible via a step ladder. One is a double size mattress, while the other is a twin mattress. These sleeping areas are open to the main living area in the cottage and have minimal privacy.

Our deluxe junior (studio) suite with balcony and kitchenette is available at Villa del Palmar Beach Resort and Spa located in downtown Puerto Vallarta in Zona Hotelera Norte for one or two weeks any time in 2026 including during the Xmas/New Years holidays.
We can't use our week this year. There is no risk to you, as the Resort will confirm your reservation and hold it for up to 24 hours while you arrange your air travel. Once you have arranged your air travel, payment for the rental in full must be made.
We are offering our Deluxe Junior Suite for Cdn$1,200 per week for 1 or 2 weeks and is normally available most dates in 2026. The resort is now nearly fully booked in February and March 2026, so early booking is necessary during this period.
Please note that this reservation does not include a meal plan or all-inclusive, but you can purchase for a portion or all of your stay upon arrival.

Beautiful newly renovated Condo with King Casper mattress. We are located on Oahu’s Westside in the town of Waianae. The unit is about 45 min from HNL airport. Approximately 12 miles away is the modern master planned community of Kapolei, where all the big box stores are located. Our Condo is right at the waters edge where you can swim in the safe lagoon & snorkel with the local fish and turtles that live there. Spot whales and dolphins from the unit. Explore the miles of beautiful shoreline. There is golfing at Makaha Country Club, Waianae harbor has fishing, diving, site seeing boat tours, lots of hiking trails, and because this is the dry side of the Island, plenty of sunshine. Pearl Harbor, Germaines Luau, fine dining just minutes away. Waikiki beach and Honolulu are about 1 hr drive. The bus system is cheap and goes all over the Island. We do recommend renting a car. We also have our Nissan Sentra available for rent @ $600.00us extra per month if needed.
The complex has 2 pools, bbq grills, weight room & 2 laundry mats. Our unit is on the Penthouse level, which is the top floor of a 4 story building. Though it does have a AWESOME view there is 1 downfall, the elevator only goes to floor 3, so you will have steps. The parking garage is covered and you only have 7 steps to go up from there to get to 4th floor. We have a great cart that rolls over the stairs to make transporting your supplies easier. The Condo comes fully stocked with way more than the normal supplies. Toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, cleaning supplies, refrigerator full of condiments, spices, and of course pool and beach chairs, towels, masks,fins, etc. If it’s nightlife and lots of people your after, this is NOT your place. If you wanna hang with the locals and see beautiful beaches and mountains then you will love it. Come to the WESTSIDE and see the Birthplace of Singer Songwriter Israel Kamakawiwo’ole. You will see why he wrote “Aw Makaha what a beautiful place”.
There is a $500.00 refundable deposit to hold your reservation. Not refundable if you cancel less than 30 days before arrival.
There is also a $150.00 cleaning fee that will be taken out of your deposit.

This 1200 sq. ft, second floor traditionally styled condo features 2 bedrooms (king sized in main, king sized with double bunk in guest room) and 2, 3 piece bathrooms. There are no elevators as the building has only 3 stories. So there are two easy flights of stairs, with hand rails, to the unit. It comes fully furnished and outfitted for your stay. Fully equipped kitchen with full size appliances, a washing machine (with indoor drying lines)...everything you need, bedding, towels, etc. Just bring your suitcase and toiletries!
There is a large beautiful private terrace accessible from both living room and master bedroom overlooking the common area pool and garden courtyard.
This condo is in a 30 unit building named Aqua Terra and located in a very central area, probably the most awesome location in the city....a super "walk everywhere" location on 34 Calle between 20 and 25 avenida. It is only 3 blocks to most public beaches, famous 5th Avenue, and grocery stores, great cafes and bars, cantinas and lots of musical entertainment. I still love it there after many years!

Have you been coming to Playa and area for years and need a change or are you new and want to explore with some support from me:)
My cute Studio is (290 sq ft. 23 m2) located 20 mins south of Playa del Carmen on my property, might be what you're looking for. You'll have a giant private pool/ FINA 25m double swim lane too!! The Studio is for adults only (2) and only non-smokers please. I will allow a small dog, but we need to chat about that. The property is less than 5 km from XpuHa beach, and you can take the bikes, a mini bus or even walk (though it's down the highway) to hit numerous beach accesses and clubs/rest. Puerto Aventuras/Playa to the north & Tulum/Akumal to the south. Perfectly located in the middle. Rent a car if you'd like and you'll have the ultimate experience exploring Quintana Roo/Yucatan- head to Chichen Itza or Bacalar for a day or two, and I have a scooter (rent) too. I can be your support and guide if you like:)There is a queen bed, a fantastic mattress with a foam topper, bamboo protector, wardrobe and 43” Sharp/SMART/Roku TV. The bathroom and shower are together- think modern, with floor to ceiling tiles and a sweet bidet! The Studio is detached, separate from the main house (my place), a standalone building located on 1.5 acres of jungle, with parking directly in front of the unit.
Studio Muluk Kin is outfitted with premium sheets and towels. I will exchange the towels and sheets on a regular basis, though you would be responsible for the T-towels, and other small items, in-suite washer (no dryer, hang to dry outside/I have a dryer for urgent drying:)). Equipped with a remote-controlled air conditioner (mini split), ceiling fan and a screen door and window screens; believe me, some places have no screens:(The studio is well appointed, fully equipped with a kitchen; small fridge/freezer, induction burner, Cuisinart panini press/griddle, coffeemaker, kettle, microwave, blender and more - and if you need something specific, I will put it into the studio for you- e.g., food processer, blender, ice-cream maker- teehee etc. There is also a portable JBL Bluetooth speaker. I always keep it fully stocked with shampoo/cond, body wash, laundry and dish soap, paper towels; everything you will need for your stay.
It's ideal for those coming for Tri's, or training for one, swimmers of course of any sort, and divers or someone that is tired of the 'resort scene. Or, perhaps you just need a Zen place to hang out- you will love the unique birds and iguanas, that only a jungle can give you.
