I sing a couple times per week by myself, but I also want to sing with someone else.
I'd like to meet once a week for an hour or so, sometimes at my house and sometimes at the other person's house. I want to work on some covers at first and then maybe we could make some originals. If we practice some songs until they sound good, maybe we could perform (or maybe not- I'm not really that interested in performing but I'm open to it).
My practice method so far has been recording myself singing and then making changes to my technique based on how it sounds. I've been doing this for 4 years or so. I've taken a few lessons, but it was nothing extensive.
I play piano and I can play while I sing to a limited extent. It takes me some time to work out a rhythm and practice it enough to consistently play it when I sing, but I can manage with practice. I could definitely play while someone else sang. I have a piano at my house and I could bring a synth to your house if it was a day when we were playing there.
I like blues, jazz, folk, pop, old country sometimes, r&b. My comfortable vocal range is E3 to E5 and I sound best between F3 and C5. My range limits what I can sing and I do transpose many songs I sing.
Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks!

Newly landed in CBS a few months ago. Looking for fellow musicians and writers to join me on a new musical journey. I currently have no place to jam (or a car), and only have a not so great acoustic and a stationary electric piano to work with.
I'm currently using the name Unprecious Moments on bandcamp. I have several free demos on their you can check out. This is a serious project for me. It may seem at times silly and possibly offensive, but that's just who I am.

I have a 3 year old daughter and I am currently 3 months pregnant and I am a single mother. I can’t say that we are doing the best right now, although I am trying my best, some days it doesn’t seem like enough. My 3 year olds father has nothing at all to do with her which is hard financially as well, the father of my unborn child, turned out to be a liar and cheated on me several times over the last 6 months which I found out on Christmas Day. I really do not like asking the public to help when they’re dads should be. As you can see, we have nothing left barely. If by any chance, you or anyone can help us out a little, We will greatly appreciate it. You can text me or call, my number is 219-2554. Thank you everyone in advance for the help.

I am 34 and I live in St. John’s. I’m just looking for a friend or acquaintance, someone to play board or video games with, or someone to walk around town with and have a chat.
I am also interested in reading, repairing electronics, hiking or walking, other outdoor activities that just get me out of the house, and just watching tv or movies. Can travel or willing to travel to meet if you live in central Newfoundland since I often go back and forth to Gander, Grand Falls, or other communities in that area too.
Let’s have a coffee later or we can just text / email each other if you prefer that. Reply to this ad and we can work out the details. Some of my images are included with this ad.
It’s difficult to describe what I’m really looking for in a friend but I would have to say someone that is more introverted like I am because it seems rare to find that in Newfoundland. I already know many people that are extraverts. An introvert though is often a more quieter person or someone that just enjoys spending most of their time alone . They might enjoy reading, watching tv, playing video games, or other indoor activities such as arts / crafts or painting. But there are many definitions for being introverted. Some introverts are less shy or quieter than others might be for example. And some introverts can still be very talkative when they are around other people. Many introverts might also work in a research type of job or a library or office environment.
The longer that I live, I just realize that some of the better memories I have ever had with someone was usually when I was spending time with other introverts that I knew back in high school or just any other time when I was much younger. We could always talk the hours away about any topic easily. Never seemed to get bored of the conversation or each other’s company either. Even simple things like just going for a walk or on a hike seemed to be more enjoyable when I did that activity with someone that really understood me as a person. I don’t think I’ve ever had that experience with anyone for at least 14 years now though. Every introvert that I ever knew seemed to just vanish after high school graduation. I assume they all just moved away to the mainland.
So I’m just hoping to find a small number of friends that might fall into that category. Not looking for dating or anything beyond friendship. Maybe I would only consider dating if I knew you for a very long time such as several months or years. I often feel bored and just frustrated with life in Newfoundland but I know if you are another fellow introvert like myself and you are viewing this ad, you probably know what it’s like too. That feeling of just never being able to find anyone else that really has much of a connection with you, or just the feeling of never being able to find a friend that shares any of your thoughts, hobbies, or interests in the province. Alot of days, I just wake up and the first thing that I say to myself is here goes another day with no one to spend any time with. I think I just miss conversation more than anything else. But we live in a society now where many people seem to actually hate conversation. Ask me how that makes sense, lol. I have no idea. Oh well.
If you managed to get this far reading all of this and you find yourself sharing the same thoughts that I have or agreeing with most of my feelings about friendship, then I hope that you will decide to reach out and say hello. We can go get a coffee and play a board game when we meet or decide on some other activity that you might enjoy. Take care.
