Branch Supervisor
Description
On behalf of our client in Mount Pearl, NL we are hiring for a branch supervisor in the building supplies industry.
Reporting to the General Manager – Atlantic Region, the Branch Supervisor helps implement the strategic direction for the branch. The position focuses on the management of internal business processes to support all functions within the branch.
The Branch Supervisor’s responsibilities are: financial, operations, people management, and safety.
The position manages inside sales, warehouse operations, and branch administration.

Responsibilities
The Branch Supervisor is directly responsible for four employees. With this responsibility the supervisor also:
Creates and maintains a positive, productive, and transparent work environment and team atmosphere.
Manages and develops direct reports.
Conducts performance assessments on a regular basis.
Addresses employee issues in a fair and consistent manner, working closely with Human Resources.
Develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintains them over time.
Qualifications
Supervisor / Leadership Skills
High School graduation
Demonstrated ability to develop, inspire, and lead a team
Effective with people management skills
Very comfortable with technology, proficient with Word, Excel, and ERP systems
