I am asking for a donation of a working vehicle for my best friend. We are both 64 years old nd have been friends since for 50 years. He is somewhat disabled, and needs to use a walker to get around. Hi wife has early onset dementia and lives in a nursing home 10 miles away from him. I was hoping some good hearted person who is well situated financially would donate a car to help him out. He had a car accident on Boxing Day because of black ice and totalled his car. It would have to have an automatic transmission because of his legs don't work very well. Anne of Green Gables - The Ballet returns to Halifax on April 23rd and 24th to the Dal Arts Centre. This will be the final Nova Scotia performance of this incredible ballet and for the retiring Hannah Mae Cruddas from Dartmouth NS. Tickets are still available for both nights. It’s a beautiful and moving production not to be missed.

We are looking for a gritty Industrial location, warehouse or barn for a weekend film shoot.Minimum size 1500 sq feet with power and heat. Within 20 km of Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Hey, currently 3-piece band late 20s/30s, looking for a guitar player/singer for our Power Pop/Indie Rock/Nerdcore band that is very rocknroll cool and serious but also plays songs about pro wrestling and video games and cartoons and Power Rangers.
Need someone who can play/learn pretty easy, mostly to back up the lead guitar on rhythm and maybe do the occasional lead/solo lines, but we especially need somebody who can confidently sing backup and harmonies, as basically all our songs have some harmonies/backup needed and we currently only have lead vocals.
If you’re into this and meet most of the requirements but play bass instead of guitar, give a shout anyway and we might be up to shuffle our bass player to guitar if it’s the right fit. Queer/trans/enby friendly and all voices welcome, but if you have a higher range/fem leaning voice there might also be opportunity to sing some leads as we’ve got a couple songs our old bass player used to sing that don’t really fit our voices. PM if interested and we’ll see about setting up a jam soon

Hey all, I'm a well rounded (ish? ) guitar/ bass player and drummer looking for like minded musicians interested in jamming on Metallica songs and see where it goes. I'm open to other stuff too, honestly Metallica is my main interest and what I'm most well rounded in playing, also know a decent amount of Nirvana and some other random rock stuff.
While I play a few instruments, I'm definitely more skilled on guitar, followed by drums then bass. I welcome jamming with all other instruments, not just the typical rock band setup (but that's a wonderful starting point!)
I'm in Halifax and open to finding places to jam. Rockopolis off Cunard and Fantasie Music Instruments on Spring Garden come to mind, and of course suggestions are always welcome!
Full disclosure, I'm not trying to become a Rockstar, just reaching out to the local musician community to see if anyone's interested in jamming and having a few drinks, who knows maybe write some songs and become a garage band.. I jammed with a few people recently and I took it as a sign to get back out there to enjoy more of the same!
